Ti consiglio di lavare a mano i tessuti ricamati, applicando tutti gli accorgimenti possibili: agitare la stoffa nell’acqua ma non strofinarla; risciacquare abbondantemente senza strizzare eccessivamente il tessuto.

Le parti ricamate oppure i tessuti che hanno applicazioni e bordure, richiedono particolari accorgimenti nel momento in cui dovranno essere stirati.

Prima di appoggiare il ferro sul ricamo stendere un morbido panno sull’asse da stiro. Stirare il ricamo dal rovescio in modo tale da evitare che gli eventuali pizzi e ricami si deformino sotto l’azione del ferro da stiro.

Before placing the iron on the embroidery spread a soft cloth on the ironing board. Iron the embroidery from the reverse in such a way as to prevent any lace and embroidery from deforming under the action of the iron.

Il Ricamo Bandera consiste nella riproduzione di motivi decorativi policromi elaborati, perlopiù in stile roccaille e rococò, con una parte centrale a nucleo di soggetto floreale, od anche con figure antropomorfe di vario tipo ed una cornice spessa in figura di nastro a colore sfumato. I filati, sono di lana poco ritorta, in tinta unita in tutte le nuances del giallo oro, del rosa, del blu Savoia e del verde, perché le variazioni cromatiche sono ottenute con l’accostamento delle diverse gradazioni di colore.

Bandera embroidery consists in the reproduction of elaborate polychrome decorative motifs, mostly in roccaille and rococo style, with a central part with a floral subject core, or even with anthropomorphic figures of various types and a thick frame in a figure of ribbon with a shaded color. The yarns, are of little twisted wool, in solid color in all shades of gold yellow, rose, Savoy blue and green, because the chromatic variations are obtained with the combination of the different shades of color.
